Today at work, one of the girls working with me told me that she really really wants to get married right away. She's 21. I asked her why and she said that she wants to get married and have kids now so that she can be a MILF. I thought she was joking but she continued to assure me that she really aspires to this.

Your last entry made me think about travelling; my job entails a lot of it, but not so much free time to really experience the places I pass through. But sometimes I do get a bit of downtime to wander about a bit, so there's that. I think I shall be able to get a little more down time for poking about when I've got more of a handle on what I'm doing and waste less time.
I undertand your last sentence. To summarize a certain buddhist insight into that sort of thing, if someone shoots you with an arrow, and you think "there must be something wrong with me or people wouln't be shooting me with arrows" you are effectively shooting yourself with a second arrow. So just make sure that the person whose skull you bash in has actually done something to deserve it.
