But after that fiasco, my bank still hasn't changed my address to the right one.
And then I lost my car key. I don't have a spare. I know it's in the house, but that's not a big comfort as it's a single key and a cluttered house and I'm sure my housemates will do little if anything at all to help me find it.
And then, when i borrowed a housemate's car, I left the lights on and drained the battery and had to call a friend for a jump. But he didn't have jumper cables like he thought he did. So we wandered around for a while trying to find them, then went somewhere else for different cables.
Today has been shite.
Like a 2 on a 7 point scale (sorry, it's a psych thing. ten point scales suck.) it's probably not as bad as getting a car stolen and then being left at the zoo and then walking fifteen city blocks to a restaurant and then watching your grandfather choke on steak and seeing his teeth come out when your dad gives him the heimlech (sp? too lazy to look it up). that happened. that was a 1.
