Being around severely depressed people all the time can make one.....well....severely depressed. I didn't have any damage to my house, but Cortney got 5 1/2 feet of water. Candace lost everything. Dr. Jessop at the vet clinic lived in New Orleans East and lost everything. Mike isn't doing well. Everyone is just so beat down! And this stupid commute across the Causeway every day makes the day seem so much shorter. Eck.

At least I have my puppy dog. I'm putting up some pictures of her, check it!

I spent most of my work day today sitting with Cortney watching the baby rhesus in the outside pen. So adorable!

Next week I get off for 2 days!!! A much needed rest. Yay.
