well... the first week of class went alright. a few slight mishaps, but nothing too crazy.
i had some issues with the bookstore, but things are still slowly working themselves out. my supply list was huge, almost all of which were for my 2D design class. on saturday when i get to class, my instructor notifies us that much of what is on that list we won't necessarily need, because the class is designed more for communication design and interior design, not the digital photography program, but the class is still required for DP. bleh. what can you do...
I was able to order my camera, and now I am waiting for the school to cut my check to the store where I am purchasing it. soon, i will have my favorite camera, with bad ass lenses, and so on... once they cut this damned check, i can make a trip downtown and pick out all the rest of the supplies i need. i am so excited.
i went to the girls of metal thinger last night. i fell in love with the last band of the night, ottoman empire, from wisconsin. i have a huge affinity for women who can not only keep a melodic balance, but who can scream thier asses off. and in the world of metal, women are earning more and more respect. it's huge to me. it's what i aspire to be one day. breaking barriers with music... aahh... refreshing.
well.. yeah.. that's about it.. school is good, work is good, life is great.
