I don't believe so. As a matter of fact, my feeling is that the education field is not the most accepting of careers. You are in the public spotlight with parents, and it only takes one to destroy your career.
It's a shame, because I know teachers who are much less qualified, and yet strong, independent, and smart women are considered "unfit" for teaching.
