one of the reasons london underground sucks

i lose a travel card (monthly one)

i report it stolen yesterday,they say ya its fine we'll send u a new one

i get an email today saying that my password was incorrect and they cant send me a new one.. RIGHT. so why did i get all these confirmation emails yesterday saying it will be with me within 5 days, as well as when she asked me to confirm it why did she say my passport was correct?
