It's the little things that bring you joywhen you work retail during the holidays, and on the actual holidays, you'll take it where you can find it.
Today i was ringing up this old woman. she was being a total bitch to me and the other guy at the register. she was pissed because we wouldn't give her her 10% senior discount on top of the 60% discount she was already receiving for the ugly ass leftover christmas crap she was buying.
so i finished ringing her up, and laid her credit card back down flat on the counter.
she had parkinsons disease. i just watched.
i'm a terrible person, but dear god she deserved it.
