i keep meaning to post a new entry, but every time i get online, i get distracted and forget what i'm doing...

so, trying to quit smoking, for real this time. and let me just say, i'm not liking the nicotine patches. they're working, but they make me very achy around where-ever i put them, and they're messing with my dreams. my dreams have become incredibly vivid, yet strangley mundane. my dad tried the patches awhile ago, and his dreams got very weird. mine are about everyday crap, not dreamlike at all. it's like i just go on with my life once i get to sleep, but i wake up and i haven't done anything i just dreamed about. it's very tiring.

not much else is new. been painting alot. looking for galleries to hang in. i'm tired of hanging my stuff in alternative venues, bars and restaurants and stuff. they're good for exposure i suppose, but people don't go to bars to buy art, they go to buy booze. and i need to reach a wider audience than the drunks around town.

connected to our apartment complex's shared wireless, so internet problems are over. just have to go and cancel my cable internet and turn in my modem. and change my email address on all the countless accounts i have online... bleh.

I was kind of disappointed with Stonehenge. it's much smaller than i expected, and all the stupid paved paths and the visitors center really detract from the mystery and grandeur that you'd expect.

right, gotta go walk the dog before it starts raining.
