Ha! i just recieved a bill from Avis Rentacar for $800 from when my rental was hit by a school bus. of course, i still have all the insurance info for the school district, so i'll be giving state farm a call tomorrow to have them settle up. it's odd though, a woman from state farm called me about a month ago to get all the information from me so they could take care of it, so it should have all been done with by now.
what's even funnier is that it was a school bus from the school district in which my parents teach, and my dad knows the head of their transportation department. dad was pissed when i told him i got a bill for it and offered to go have a "face to face" with the man (which is really the nicest way to infer greivous bodily harm...). for the gentleman's sake, i convinced my dad to wait until after i call the insurance company. we'll see what they say tomorrow...
