my new years resolutions:
1. don't stop painting. these last 2 or 3 months have been the most prolific of my life. by the end of the year i will have completed 7 new paintings and hung two solo shows. i've been a busy little beaver. all this after a two year hiatus from painting, not really intentional, just lost interest really.
2. sell my soul. well, that's how it feels when i whore myself out to sell my art, anyway. i need to find new galleries, outside of this god-forsaken state i live in. hopefully california or new york. yes, i need to make enough money for numbers 3 and 4 (see below).
3. finally take my motorcycle up the west coast. i've wanted to do it for a long time now, but this last summer my plans fell through...
4. move. anywhere but here at this point. preferably the SF Bay Area. i was about to move out there a couple years ago, but ended up staying in town for a girl. who then decided to move to chicago without me. meh.
5. realise i have to put myself first sometimes.
that's about it.
