so, i took my paintings down on tuesday. everyone at the bar is complaining to me about how bare the walls are now, and how they didn't want me to take them down. which is nice, of course, but they didn't really sell much for me, or promote it or anything like that. they want me to hang new stuff in january, which i'll prolly do, but i'm gonna make sure they have their shit together and actually do everything they promised first. like postcards, and advertising and whatnot.
that said, i have two paintings almost finished, and a third well under way, with a couple more planned out in my head. hopefully i can get them done before january. unfortunately, the three that are started are in oils, so i'm not sure if they'll be dry and ready to hang. but hell, it looks like i can set my own timeline, and management will be happy with whatever i bring them whenever.
right, off to paint now.

and i still hate winter. i need to move somewhere that stays about 70 degrees year round.
