it looks like i'll be opening my show the weekend before Halloween. that saturday, if it'll work. saturdays are their goth night, and my friend paul is the dj. he said he'd be happy to dj for the opening too. so, it'll be a fun night.
meanwhile, i finished the first new painting for the show. it's been over two years since i painted last, so given that, i think it turned out well...

normally i hate acrylics, but given that i have a time constraint, i went ahead and gave them another shot. i think it would have been alot better if i had the time to use oils, but meh. whatever. i'm happy with it.

Yes, I enjoyed the people grinding in front of me.. that was an appropriate dance style for the dolls.. *sighs* some people shouldn't drink..
