So the concert last night kicked a bit of ass.

The first band was alright. The lead singer looked kinda like me. All hot n stuff.

The second band was Death by Stereo which kicked some mighty ass. I just got one of their CD's a little while ago, so I didnt know they're songs all too well, but I had a great time otherwise.

Third band was crap. Saosin, I think. The music was good, but the singing was terrible. Sounded like a bad 'The Used' wannabe.

And lastly. The all powerful. All mighty. Avenged Sevenfold.

they put on a really awesome show. i was super impressed. the played great songs. but... there was no screaming. the singer had throat surgery a while back and no longer can scream. so all the songs off the old albums were sung where screaming should be. it was almost heartbreaking.
but everything else was awesome. they played well, awesome lights, awesome set design. only thing that i missed was the loud angry screams.

but on the plus side, i got pushed into a slam dance pit of 16 year old girls. one started punching me and i tried walking out, but got pushed back in. tried to leave again, got pushed back. tried to leave again... got forcefully thrown into this one girl and knocked her on her ass. so as any gentleman would do, i apologized and went to grab her hands to help her up. it was an accident, after all.
after she got up, i felt her arms tugging away. she wanted to punch me some more. so i held on till i backed far enough out and let go. she scratched my arm pretty good and made it bleed a bit, then punched me in the throat and then punched me in the nose. i turned around to leave and she hit me in the back of the head.

it was kinda funny. thankfully, she was a weak little 16 year old girl. otherwise, id be embarrased about the story.
