I shot my first firearm tonight.

a 9mm h&k with a 10 round clip. It took me five minutes each time to load up the clip. I left the range with my hands grey with gun powder and smelling of cordite. I could see sparks coming out of the chamber with each shot. I had to end up closing my right eye to use the sight correctly. By the end of the night I was shooting full clips in 15 seconds and hitting the "meat" of the target each time. It was a little scary. Alot scary actually. I'm very happy I don't own a gun. Theres only one reason I'd use it. To kill. I don't want to do that.

I didn't think of anyone I hated or of anything negative as I shot the target. I thought of trying to shoot where I was aiming and not harming anyone else around me. Even with Ear guards on it was explosions in my ears all the time. I'm glad I don't have to use those things and bless all those that have to.

In other news I'm still really crushing on my best friend's girl. God I feel dirty.
