I wrote this in another journal, but I keep coming back to it...

"Slip out the back before they know you were there..."

So I'm thinking about just what makes life worth living. Not in a negative, suicidal point of view, but from a social worldview. Is it money? Is it a job? Is it connections with others?

I personally don't think that it's money. It just cant be. I'm never that happy when I have money. All I do with it is buy stuff to keep myself amused. That's not always going to help me out. I don't do it much, but I'm just as happy taking a walk or some other stuff like that.

Is it a job? Hah. It ain't my job that makes life worth living. Of all the things that can be said of my job, the only thing that's 100% true is that it's a means to an end. I can see if a job was more than an occupation, like a priesthood or doctor or even something small that someone loves (seamstress? actor/tress? Massage Therapist?), However, setting up the powerpoints of others isn't something that can make life worth living.

So is it connections? I can't front and say I dont feel great when I sit down and have a conversation with someone or make a new friend. But at the end of the day, I'm the only person that looks me in the mirror, so what good are connections?

... I still don't have any answers.
samling:
