A few questions since I have nothing of note to write

1. What's the funniest thing you've ever watched on tv/computer?

the X-mas light revue. I know it's not the most amazing thing, but it's funny and at the same time amazing and has that quality that can send you back to your childhood.

also, finding out the internet is for porn was pretty funny too. (I love avenue Q)

2. Did you watch any type of muppet-centric show when you were younger?

Muppet Babies were the shit and there's no one in the world that can tell me otherwise. And of course there's the muppet show. I could never get into sesame street though. too boring, even if snuffy was the greatest Snuffleupagus to ever live. Oh and let's not forget FRAGGLE F'ING ROCK. Wembley is my main man.

3. When, exactly, did you start liking girls?

Seventh grade. It was great because the hottest girl in my year was hitting on me (it was for laughs according to her, but I didn't care!). However, it was also the worst because I knew for months beforehand how girls would, at that age, mess you up. I saw it with other guys in the year and knew that my time was coming, but it wasn't here, so I enjoyed myself until it did.
Marissa Yangalo. I was never the same since.

4. When did you know you were in love in your favorite type of music?

About five songs into Areosmith's "Get a Grip". Near the end of "living on the edge" as it faded into "flesh", the most sexually explicit, fantasy filled, lust filled song I had heard at 14. A tribal drum being beaten slowly, radio frequency noise squaking, a voice repeating "as she put her hand on mine". I felt something primal and strong as I had ever felt. A rock fan was born.

5. What is the one job you wish you'll never have?

Porn Star. Yes seriously. Sure you get to have sex, but that's about all you get unless you're willing to participate in both F/M and M/M scenes, which I'm not. Pay for men is significantly lower than female performers and rarely will you find male contract performers. Would I work in porn? In a second as a photographer, filmographer, editor, dvd author, or director or anything else on the more clothed side of the lens, but never as a star. However, my respect goes to the men that do make a living as porn stars. You've got bigger balls than I do.

6. Are you interested in finding out more about your ancestry?

Yes. If you look closely at the profile pic I have, how you say, an afro. My shit is CURLY yo. Samuel L. Jackson Curly. Now, here's the kicker; I'm Irish and a little Scandinavian. How did i get that hair? I dunno. However, Ireland was invaded by the moors (aka North-Africans) at some point in history. My family tree doesn't go that far back beyond my 3x great grandfather came off the boat from EIRE, so it's quite possible that at some point, I have a moorish branch in my roots.

7. What's your favorite non-sensical word?

Hoobajoob. Followed closely by Jimmer Jammer.
Hey, they cant all be deep questions.

8. What was the first site you ever remember going to on the internet?

Anyone else remember Arcadium.com? It was a place for gamers to find someone else to talk games and other things. My screenname, creatively enough, was sadperson. I haven't found anything like it since. Simple black background, green hyperlinks, cool little icons for your avatar (this was before the days of easily uploading pics), and a whole lot of people to talk to.

9. If you had to ask for a psychic reading and you were garanteed that the reading and it's predictions would come true, what would you ask the psychic?

"Would I end up happy in life" I couldn't stand asking to find out if I'd ever find my perfect someone because there's a 50/50 chance the answer would be no. Every other question would, be it about money, health, position, etc would set me down one road and one road only for the rest of my life, and if you want to see me sad, give me no choices for the rest of my life.

10. If there's a story behind your screen name, give it up.

Lyfeforce. My favorite videogame when I was young was an old NES game by Konami Japan called "Life Force". The game was part of the Gradius series and many of you may know the game by it's japanese name of "Salamander". It was release around the same time as Contra and Castlevania. For the uninitiated, if you've ever played R-Type, you know what to expect from Life Force. Anyway, my dad and I would play that for hours sitting on the floor and calling out where the enemy is coming from. Whenever we finished a boss fight, we'd do a "victory roll" with our planes (pressed the d-pad 360 degrees counter clockwise twice). One of my great memories of childhood.Gaming, Family and a preoccupation with Japan. Yeah, that pretty much sums up what I like so... viola!

The "y" in the name came in because a) it looks cooler, and b) I met one of the former DJ's from Incubus, DJ Lyfe, one night when I was just coming into college. He was a nice guy and got me turned on to turntablisim and just less mainstream music in general. Helluva nice guy too. So I stole part of his name out of respect.

Ok. Till tomorrow!

I'm sending velapene screen to you as I type. It had to go one song at a time, so you'll have 6 e-mails from me. I tried to ZIP it but even that was too large. Oh well, you'll have it when you check your e-mail!
