Oh man, I just ran out of room on my iPod. Now I have to see if I can't talk the Mr. into giving up his 8g nano. If he won't, I'll just have to go and buy me a new one. (He probably won't since mine is flaming hot pink haha) I didn't even get half of my CD's on there, plus the other stuff I was buying off of iTunes. Of course, I'd have a lot more room if I could figure out how to get the songs OFF of my iPod that I don't want on there and just leave them on my iTunes. I don't need every song off of every CD on there but that's what I've got.
But good God, I love that thing.

The A/C adapter for my laptop died. Dell wanted $79.99 for a new one for a four-year-old laptop. I found a generic one on Amazon, but it hasn't done the trick. Now I'm thinking it's the battery, as on the off chance I can get it to recharge, it stops charging the minute I turn my computer on. The cheap one is $174.99.

Could be the laptop charging circuit - if the power charges the battery when the laptop's on, the power adaptor's working and the battery is holding it's charge. Could be that.

the number of SG jumping ship on here of late has been pretty depressing, especially all that kerfuffle last week, but you're right, asdie from all these dramas, this site remains a pretty unique place to basically be yourself around peopel who are (for the most part) not complete nutjobs.
good on you for sticking this place out for two years, though. i'm approaching four years pretty soon, which is. . sort of scary. i thouyght i would be on here for three months, and that would be that. hmm.
