This is the first year I've been out of school in September. Not really, but it feels like it. I was heavily pregnant and graduating two years ago, and last year I was on maternity leave. This year I feel it because my older daughter started jr. kindergarten, so going (back) to school has been on my mind a lot.

If it weren't for the homework and lack of income, I'd definitely go back! I love learning, I love seminar classes where you actually discuss the topics with your classmates, who are presumably as interested in the topics as you are, which is why you all made it to third and fourth year.

It's getting chilier. I actually had to wear nylons and shoes (rather than bare legs and sandals) to work last week. I'll definitely have to do that tomorrow. I might even have to wear socks!
