The fireworks started before it was dark and lasted for a couple of hours. I could see so many from the balcony. It was wonderful! You can see half the city from our balcony, so I had a panoramic view of the fireworks from the lake to North York. Those who were setting off fireworks in their backyards probably didn't realise how many other people were doing the same. Happy Victoria Day!

I bought a new measuring tape because I'm going to start a few dressmaking projects and I couldn't find the old one anywhere. Just for fun, I decided to measure myself. Much to my surprise, I now know that the reason my pants keep falling down is because I've lost two inches off my waist and two inches off my hips. The best part is that I haven't even lost any boob.

Accessory shopping tomorrow, in anticipation of the Gala on Saturday! Like I need an excuse.
