Hump day!
One day it would be awesome to go on an archaeological dig like the one at Hierakonpolis. I'd get sand in my bra and a sunburn, but it would be so much fun. I was lucky enough to go on a dig just north of Toronto, and the most thrilling things we found were tiny broken bits of pottery. There was rain, mud, bugs, and bad food. But I guess that's archaeology.
In related news, I just watched Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom on the weekend for the first time, and I must say that I was shocked. If an episode of Xena: Warrior Princess got banned because it offended Hindus to see their gods battling Xena, then why is this movie still in circulation? It was utterly offensive. And a very bad movie, to boot.

i have a little soft spot for raiders of the lost ark, though. they just make fun of nazis to my recollection.
