I'm almost back on the road with work. I'm lucky enough to have the tour within a close distance to home for the next two weeks. I absolutely love living within sight of the Rocky Mountains! They're an amazing geological formation and they provide for a lot of great outdoor activities that I'm still learning how to discover.
I got to spend a weekend up at Breckenridge ski resort learning how to travel down mountains with skis on my feet. It was my first time ever having skis on my feet and the instructors were a great help is building my confidence. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'll have time again to get up into the mountains this season because my next big break is in April. However, maybe some people will figure out how to do a day trip on a day off from work because we'll have a couple days in Broomfield, CO and Colorado Springs, CO.
