Ok, so, the phone call that I just finished did not go exactly as I had thought it might go. I'm not sure if it was the way that I answered the questions or just the way things got steered by the interviewer, but it was not the direction that I had hoped because I thought it was going to be a simple phone call about a position working in theatrical automation, but my experience has put me into the running for the head of a lighting department that's larger than the one that I'm running right now. I was aware that the position was open, but I was hoping for some sort of transitional job to a new type of department. I'm willing to see what they have to offer for this other position that I'm now definitely in the running for, but it was not the originally intended result.
