So, I just attended one of the few weddings I've been invited to in my life. It was a very short ceremony with some intimate friends and the reception was about the same. I guess I hope that some day I'll be at a larger wedding where there are lots of people whom I don't know and the speeches are easily heard throughout the dining area.

I had a great time catching up with a small group of friends that I haven't seen in a while and certainly have kept in very little touch with over the years. I also caught up a little with the groom whom invited me to the wedding. I wished them the best of luck and I wondered when I'll ever find anyone to spend the remainder of my time on earth with, but I'm not rushing out to find someone. I'm looking at changing jobs into a position that would move me to the other side of the globe, so it would seem that looking for someone before I know if I'm leaving would put me back into the position where I just broke up with a girl because we probably wouldn't see each other for over a year and I couldn't stand to tag her along when in my heart I wasn't sure if it would last. Is that wrong of me to break it off because I wouldn't know when I was going to see her again because my job keeps me very busy and traveling around the USA already for every week of the year? Anyway, the wedding started me wondering and that will probably weigh on my mind for a couple of weeks as I continue to go through the interview process for a possible new job. I hope things turn out in such a way that I get out of this partial mental funk that I'm going through.

Thank you! You'll meet the one when it's time, I'm sure.
