indoor fountain

I bought the above fountain at Wal-Mart tonight (that itself is a story...I went at night so I got to see all the too-sexy high school girls with their sleazy-looking guy friends, old guys I'd rather stay away from, and single women whom I'd rather never see out in daylight...plus my weekly quota of mullets and trash...) for $18. And no, the one I bought does not have that damned butterfly on the top!

I've been looking for an indoor water fountain thing for my desk at work, but I have yet to find one. This one I picked up is for home and has a fairly large footprint. I did have a fountain back in college from this same company, but after about 6 months the pump made more noise than the water...so it's been "retired" and being carted around for years now. Hopefully I have more luck with this one and any others I buy for work. The old one was a vastly different model, a square plastic three-sided thing with room for a candle in the middle so that it glowed.

This actually looks great on my nightstand along with my small lamp, dragon incense burner (cone), and clock/radio, and so far the pump is silent as anything! (whew!)

And back to my book on Ethereal...
