It just occurred to me (reading Shalome's journal and checking out the people she talked about) that I've met more intriguing, odd, weird, fun, and cool people on SG in my short time, than I could probably hope to meet in Iowa for many years. In fact, looking back at all the people I've known in Iowa, it's pretty unexciting and bland...nothing terribly "out there."

I gotta re-add my plans to move out of this area someday, to someplace a little more diverse, anonymous, and happening.
