Finally, my new tattoos.

got these done in RVA. took 2 sittings and a shit load of money with a time total of 11 hours and a cash total of NONE OF YO' BUSINESS BITCH!

They are from a 17th century etching that accompanies book 12 of Milton's "paradise lost." on the right arm is the angel micheal. on the left arm are adam and eve. micheal is kicking adam and eve out of paradise.

basically, that's how "paradise lost" ends.

hence the name.

school starts back up tomorrow. i'm taking:

cognitive poetics

& teaching college english.

after being in RVA for a month and partying down with da homies...

it's kind of hard to go from drinking lots of beer, talking to strange yet hot boys with tattoos on their butts, eating mushrooms, and working at the titty bar

to

cooking dinner, cleaning house, picking up the occasional dog turd, and working on this goddamned master's degree...

but i think this is where i belong.

i love RVA. i really really do. it was hard to leave it again. but being there, i thought, "damn, i'm getting too old for this shit."

but you know i guess i've been thinking that about one thing or the other for my whole life.
