Today has been a difficult day. Its not true that boys dont show emotions, we usually just deal with them by ourselves, a bottle of beer or whiskey, and our favorite action movies.
My mom fell and broke her wrist Saturday night and reacted badly to the medicines in the hospital and thus didnt get out until today, my cousin Harvey passed away 6 years ago and today is his birthday, and i broke up with my girlfriend.
So tonight, im going to set a place for two at a fancy restaurant and dine on some sumptuous meals with some celebratory champagne. When the server eventually asks me who the 2nd glass is for, I will say its for Harvey. Who has never left my side since passing away. Sometimes...We're never truly alone unless we let ourselves be.
