Well my daddy flew out here yesterday to visit and we spent the whole day with him. Unfortauntely he's going home in two days and i wont get to see him again until May... unless i decide to get my ass out to San Diego like i've been swearing to my buddies back home i would. CURSE YOU 4 HOUR PLANE RIDES!!!! (I get very very nervous on planes)
Today we went to the Rouge plant and for those of you who don't know that's the assembly line Henry Ford built and they were at work today assembling F-150s. My dad is a car nut so he was in heaven. Me... not so much really. But it was nice to see him happy. I busied myself texting InnocentSid because i was generally not that intrested in watching 5 people screw bolts into a truck door.... until the Cell phone nazi appeared!!!
This woman that looked like a defensive line man with the mustache to match marches up angrily and tells me she will forcibly eject me if i dont stop texting. Ok... so i know camera's aren't allowed in the factory.. but seriously what is a crappy cell phone going to get a picture of when I cant't even see anything from where I'm standing. I put the cell phone away and ignore her. She follows us. Finally we ditch the gastapo and i look down at the assembly line and notice that "GASP" there are 3 workers not on break on the cell phone as they work.
Really? REALLY?! I dont see why it's not ok for a person on a catwalk who cant see anything through all the bars anyway can't text with a phone that's facing the floor but the people working near the dangerous machinary are allowed to have and use cell phones on the floor. I think she was jealous that I am hot and have more friends then her.
But it was fun other then that. Tomorrow hopefully I will be doing better and be more in the mood for spending time with my dad. I haven't been getting much sleep lately... troubling dreams that wake me in a swear but no recoluction of what any of them are. It's been like that for over a week now. Some nights i have good dreams like meeting all of you guys that suddenly turn into horrible nightmares. And i end up having these all night. I have dark circles under my eyes... for someone that gets as much healthy sleep as i do that's not good.
And on that note. I love you guys. You're great. I'm sorry i haven't been around much this week but I'll be catching up on blogs as i can. Have a good rest of the weekend everyone!
