Flying to Portland tomorrow, the day finally came!! The days were dragging by at the office, specially after work trips to Boston and Baltimore and actually going onboard ships and doing real work.
So last weekend I kissed this girl. I know it sounds lame and unimportant, but it was this girl whom I had a crush on since 10 years ago, we went to college together, she's also an older sister of a classmate and friend of mine. So this girl I kissed is a widow, she got married after college and her husband died of cancer, and then she moved to Italy to work for the NAVY. She's been back sometimes to visit the family here in Jersey and was here last weekend for her sister's bridal shower. I was so nervous, even when deep inside I knew she liked me too, and then it happened, and it was great. And now she is back in Italy...why can't I meet a girl in Jersey?
