Back from Germany- it was beautiful... I didn't have as much fun as expected, and I think that sounds really bitchy. I mean, I got a free trip to Germany, why am I complaining?

Folks, traveling with your Grandma is not all that fun.

And I finally learned that lesson that others have probably known for years: There is no such thing as a free ride. Woo, the strings that came attached with my trip weren't that binding, but you just cannot be any ounce of upset with someone when they do something mean/irritating/stupid when you are on vacation thanks solely to them!

Anyway, I'm really really glad to be back in Portland.

I start my new job on Monday- wish me luck!
