Okay, so I got lost about a million times in Portland and felt like a dumb country bumpkin. Grah! They need more clearly labeled freeway entrances there. Damnit.

Anyway- so I found a place I loved, and then it got rented in 1 day. Damnit. Luckily there was a 2nd place I loved- it's a bit more expensive, and a little more east than would've been ideal but oh well. It's a 4 bedroom 2 bath with a dishwasher and washer/dryer hookups and a full basement. It's old and well taken care of and just lovely. AND THERE IS A PURPLE BEDROOM. Well, lavender, with white trim ont eh doors, baseboard, and crown moulding. So my room.

So I still have to apply and give them money but the place isn't even listed yet.

I also got to hang out with my cousin who talks more than I do, which is crazy. She's actually a bit irritating, but oh well, she's family, and she was nice enough to let me stay with her.

I went to this cool "retrocade" in downtown Portland last night, Ground Kontrol. It is pretty sweet, it's all old skool arcade games and they serve beer and wine. You should check it out if you ever go to Portland, cuz my friend owns it and it rocks.

All right, that's enough for now, I'm exhausted from driving all over Portland and talking to a million different potential landlords and being really stressed out and then driving home.
