Mmmm... mashed potatoes. <3 Brenna is out sick today [along with Evette!!! what the heck!] So I'm covering reception today and doing my own job. But that's okay. Being busy makes the day go by quicker. And have I ever mentioned that I really love my boss? Because I really, really do.
I don't think I ever showed off the newest addition to my body.

Last night was Suicide Wednesdays!!! It was only my second time going; I left at 11pm, though. I am SO bad at staying up late. I always go to bed so early unless it's a really special occasion [or, the rare occasion that I'm actually not tired]. I am such a freaking grandma. I'm going to start taking naps on Wednesdays before I head to the Vine Bar because I miss all the good stuff, such as Lovette getting naked and dancing on the bar.
Today on the way to work, Phantom Planet's song "California" came on the radio [Indie 103.1]. I haven't heard that song since I first drove into California when I was moving here in August '05. And it made me think about how much I've gone through in California so far--even everything leading up to my move in California. I am content with where I am at right now. I never, absolutely never thought I'd be here.... working at the SG offices, being able to pay my own rent with no problem every month, and knowing some of the amazing people that I know.
