so its scotland and i'm ill.

its my own damn fault, really. knew i was coming down with something, knew my missing my allergy medication had slowed me down. what do i go do? i go out and don't go to sleep until 3. idiot. now all i feel is tired, ill, and embarresed. jamie and i were going to go to skye today, but i had to request a rest day here in inverness. inverness isn't bad, mind you, but its not skye and i was looking forward to pushing off and getting to the next place. oh well. i'm drinking terrible british thera-flu (not to be confused with our terrible american thera-flu) and wondering how i'm going to stay awake until the rooms are done and i can go to sleep again. jamie's being very nice about it, especially since he's not feeling all that great either.

honestly, however, the trip has been very good. i shouldn't bitch. we had a wonderful time in edinburgh even if we did accidently spend too much money. inverness has been much easier on our budget, and that's good. we've also met some very lovely people. scotland, meanwhile, is beautiful as always and i'm looking forward to wandering more of it. jamie seems to be having fun as well.

and for whatever-the-fuck reason my aol webmail won't load on this browser, so i can't access my e-mail. honestly, its starting to drive me a little nuts. i will post more when i'm feeling better. cheers.
