i've returned to california. i can now breath easier. of course, i'm only here for a handful of days before i'm off to london. life's hard.

my friend shuli pointed out to me a handful of days ago that i was totally preoccupied with getting a girlfriend while in cambridge. i'm sure i was, but i didn't notice it until she mentioned something. wow. talk about being caught off guard by the truth. still, it's good to know. i think woman have been for a long time my major hobby; i think i need a new hobby. the difficult thing is going to be training myself to not think about them all so much.

i find it ironic that i'm posting this on suicidegirls.

anyway, despite cambridge's smothering nature i was terribly upset to leave everyone. if i was more prone to riot i'd be angry that such a wonderful situation can't seem to keep me happy just because of geography. okay, so i am a little angry...but still not prone to riot.

oh, and i was pleased to notice that my appartment here in berkeley was still in one piece.
