Well @missy and @rambo this is a pretty good topic. Everyone knows that when you put yourself into a public space you open yourself up to criticism and trolls, people who want to be mean for the sake of it. But for every fuck boy out there there are twice as many people appreciating what you do.
My advice for dealing with the haters - just look at the source, insecurity, jealousy and close mindedness. You don't need to change peoples minds you just have to be proud of yourself and what you do. Not everyone is going to like you and that's ok. If it upsets you, don't look. I would never advocate making people feel bad or trying to be nasty but at the end of the day you have no control over anyone else, just your reaction. Stand up for yourself if you really feel like it's necessary but in my experience if you choose not to be affected, things become a lot easier to deal with.
