My darling girl Lola passed away on Wednesday, I was totally caught off guard by it by it, she's been in an out of the vet but I never expected it to happen. She stopped breathing and they couldn't restart her heart. I am totally devastated, she wasn't just a dog, she was a friend and a companion, a comfort for when I came home from work and she will be horribly missed. I loved how she would face the wrong direction to bark because she was blind, I loved that even though she couldn't see, she charged around the house like a rhino and never let it stop her from doing what she wanted, I loved hearing her snores at night and how she barked at the cat food until she got some. Best pug, most love.

Losing a pet can be just as hard as losing a friend. However, we expect to outlive our little buddies which is just a shitty fact of life. Best of luck.
