Hello, SGLand!!
When I was younger, my dream was being a biologist! I watched those programs where biologists traveled, went to the forests, found and studied animals of different species. This was my dream job traveling the world and seeing different places and animals. I've started biology college, but for financial reasons I couldn't finish it.
Today my dream job is one that will allow me to have time for myself, where I don't have to stay hours and hours locked in a place working in a regular schedule, which allows me to travel and work from wherever I am.
Let's say I don't have a dream job, but I do have a dream lifestyle. 💜

After I graduated high school I went to med school but it didn't go as planned 😅 I changed to biology and wanted to do neurobio but the teachers were like "there are no jobs in this field" sooo I was kinda lost at this point. Finally I felt like animals = good and humans = bad 😂 sooo... Yeah! Haha

So I didn't make it back to college until I was in my 40's only because the Navy was going to pay most of it. Started studying geology and learned that math is my nemesis so a changed majors and I am now a Archaeologist, well one with only a undergraduate degree. You're 100% right to follow your dream and pursue what makes you happiest. If you are ever in the same place for awhile I do recommend contacting your education though, you might find something that furthers your dreams.
