hooray, my first SG entry!!! i'm just feeling my way around right now, but i'm looking forward to future SG fun

addendum: yay, nighttime, and with that, time to get to work on my lil ol profile here. i'm new and all, so things are looking pretty barren right now. well, first up was to add the picture, and what better way to open my journal then to tell the story behind that picture...
one night my good buddy freyja asked me to join her at a club night whose theme is "contemporary female pro-sexuality". the organization calls themselves Cake, here in nyc. well the theme of this evening happened to be "Stripteaseathon". people sign up, wait their turn, get on stage, and take their clothes off. anyone can do it and people of all shapes, sizes, and sexes are urged to just have fun and let it all hang out, so to speak. (p.s. you're not allowed to get *totally* naked, just almost). anyhow, the show began and myself, freyja, and a few other friends headed over to the stage to check it out. many women and only a few men later, the hostesses on stage were looking for another male to go. no others had signed up. for some strange reason(*), one of the hostesses points at me! the next thing i know, she comes down into the crowd and starts pulling me up on stage, with freyja and the others pushing me along. ack! well after a few drinks (open bar), even a somewhat shy person like myself can be convinced, especially after the hostess offered(**) to go up there and dance with me. how could i refuse at this point? so the next thing i know, i hear the MC call my name, the DJ cues up the clash, and the hostess is dancing with me, taking my clothes off in front of hundreds of people! craziness! but what a rush! there were many other funny details, but i'm -trying- to kepe this short.
(*) the reason? freyja and friends were standing behind me pointing at me the whole time!!!!!!!!!!!
(**) offered to go up with me? all freyja's idea when she whispered over to the hostess, explaining that i would do it if she offered.
that's what friends are for, right? hee.
