Today was pretty rad. I woke up late, so I didn't get to see The Decemberists, which was a bummer, because Holly said they were totally awesome. I did however manage to get in for Dashboard Confessional, which was so much fun. I really want to see them again, just because the crowd for those shows is great. Everyone sings along so loudly! Not to mention that Chris, the lead singer, is just a really fuckin' nice guy. They did a sweet cover of "Teenage Dirtbag"; honestly, they did a better job with the song than the original band, who's name escapes me at the moment.

Sat on the lawn by Fisher Pavillion and enjoyed the random stuff that was on the KEXP stage. Some Trip Hop, some R&B, a Regge band, and some other stuff I don't remember. Tons and tons of great music.

Browsed through flatstock, which was a big show dedicated to poster art and the like. There were so many great artsits, but the real reason I was there was for Tuffy. I bought some of his posters, and he gave me a slick deal on 'em too. Got a whole bunch more from some other artists as well. I ended up leaving with a huge roll of posters, probably enough to cover another wall in my room. I think I spent too much money, but it was totaly worth it.

Hung out and chatted with Tuffy and Holly for a bit, then tried to go get in line for Flogging Molly, only to find that the show was full. And it was still an hour until showtime too! I totally underesemated how popular they'd be, but I guess it was a pretty small venue as well. I'm still kinda bummed that I didn't get to see them.

Mused around the food isles, had a killer gyro, and got in line for the mainstage shows. I really didn't know who was playing tonight, other than Iggy and the Stooges. There was supposed to be another band playing before them, but I hadn't bothered to find out who before getting in line. Ended up being Mudhoney, which was totally fucking sweet. They played a great set, and then we all waited for Iggy to come on. And boy did he ever. Even though the band is all pretty old now, they still rocked hard. Iggy had his trademark tight jeans and everything. He looks a lot like Anthony Kedis, now that I think about it.

It's been a long weekend. I'm so tired.
