It's Friday. But it's not really much of a Friday, when you have to work Saturday. And Saturday isn't really worth anything, if you have to work Sunday.
I dyed my hair again, but I refuse to post any pictures of it until I can fix the color. It looks really, really wrong. Remind me to not use anything with the words "Scarlet", or "Blood" again. It looks like someone pooped on my head. I need to find the right color again; I'm so tired of driving from Hot Topic to Hot Topic to find this damn shade. Fuckers.
I bought some new music yesterday. It was my weekly payday present to myself. I got Killswitch Engage's The End of Heartache, the Resident Evil: Apocolypse soundtrack, and The Crystal Method's Leigon of Boom. So far, I'm really impressed with all 3. Usually when I buy a whole bunch of music at the same time, it's hit and miss with what's good. It usuallly settles at about half; some of them I like, some of them I don't.
Gonna spend Easter under the car, since it's really the only day I have to work on it. I've really got to get this goddamn thing fixed, and fast. It's slow going by myself, though. If I don't get it fixed soon, it's going to throw a big wrench in my plans for May. June is still undecided; some of my plans kinda backfired, but I guess there wasn't anything I could do about it. We'll see how it goes between then and now.
Seek me, call me, I'll be waiting
Seek me, call me, I'll be waiting
This distance, this dissolution
I cling to memories while falling
Sleep brings release, and the hope of a new day
Waking the misery of being without you
Surrender, I give in
Another moment is another eternity
(Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
(Seek me) Completion, (Call me) I'll be waiting
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
You know me, you know me all too well
My only desire - to bridge our division
In sorrow I speak your name
And my voice mirrors my torment
(Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
(Seek me) Completion, (Call me) I'll be waiting
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
Am I breathing?
My strength fails me
Your picture, a bitter memory
For comfort, for solace
(Seek me) For comfort, (Call me) For solace
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
(Seek me) Completion, (Call me) I'll be waiting
(I'll be waiting) For the end of my broken heart
-The End Of Heartache
This is the one song I've been listening to for like the last two weeks; along with The Hand That Feeds. I bought the single off itunes the other day, and I cycle between these two songs for most of the day; at least while the batteries on my ipod last.
I've spent alot of time in the last two or three weeks browsing the personals on Craigslist. Partly out of pure boredom, partly out of desperation, partly out of morbid curiosity. After some study, I've realized that I'm neither anywhere near as pathetic, or as amazingly desperate as most of these people. I feel much better about myself in the light of thier situations. Jesus.
That's pretty much it for now; I'll do my hair again soon, and post some pictures then. Other than that, I'm really just being lazy. I'm around though, so don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Yeah, if you didn't pick up on it, check into the remix collection. They went fucking apeshit on that. Remixes 1981-2004 was released in a one-disc version for all the mall chains. A 2 disc special edition was also put out for the fanboys. A 3-disc Limited Edition was released for the serious DJ's (had like 14 new mixes in it). And then a 4th disc was made available as a downloadable purchase.... one of the best compilations I've ever heard - I had most of the singles from over the years, and more than 50% of the content was still new (as well as fresh) to me.

Well, unlike Trent's more recent discs of mixed slag, these are all bona fide hard-hitting mixes of incredible tracks. Think about how deep the DM catalog goes... they got remix treatments from Goldfrapp to Undeerworld to Rex The Dog to Air to all the heavy duty remix producers over the last 20 years.... like I said, it's an amazing collection.
