Went on a date last night, it was fun.

I've noticed that 90% of a first date with someone is bullshit. I bullshit, she bullshits, so it's not like it's a guy thing. You jump to a topic, and start with some fakeness to try and get it rolling; the idea being that you want to find a long conversation point. If it the topic you've chosen doesn't work, you spout some bullshit and move on to the next idea.

All was going well, until, like magic, she said that hardcore, and new metal, "with all that screaming" wasn't really music. I knew instantly that this was the conversation I'd been waiting for. We began to argue; long past the playful banter of jokes, and sexual innuendo, now we were in the thick of it. I lunged, she parried. I swung high, and she went for the gut. I was instantly attracted to the sheer force of her argument, even if I couldn't disagree more.

The rest of the night was so much better, once we got that initial argument out of the way.

The way to this man's heart? Give me energy in a conversation that I can feed off of, and I'll love you forever.
