I think I may have figured something out. I think I know what people... want.

See, some may say that people strive for success, or love, or a sense of meaning or usefulness. I think that people just want to feel special. That kind of encompasses all of the things that people seem to want and sums it all up. I want to feel special, and when I don't feel like I'm special or if I don't feel as though I give something to a person that other people don't give him or her, well, that's when I feel small and insignificant.

Okay okay. So I know you're going to say "no one can MAKE you feel any way. You're responsible for your own feelings." True, very true. But I will feel special when I'm inspired to do so. Or better yet, I should say that I feel special unless or until someone does something to actually help me feel otherwise.

And who ever came up with the idea to make cereal and milk AND a glass of orange juice part of a complete breakfast? All I can think about is how the orange juice is inside my stomach, curtling the milk. Ugh.
