Last night I had a really bad panic attack. I used to get them all the time, but I haven't had one in a long time. It boggles me how random it is... you think you're fine and then it just hits you.
Anyways, I went and hung out with a friend who I knew would be able to snap me out of it without too much fuss. We ended up having a good chat, so the night turned out to be less scary than it had felt earlier on.
I'm only a little embarassed about being all panicky in front of a friend, but it's okay because he knows me well enough to understand the spaz in my personality...

I'm going to a birthday party tonight! Wee!

i have really bad panic attacks sometimes too. i think one of the worst things about them are how random they are, how you won't even be thinking about anything at all and all of a sudden you feel like you're losing control. it really helps to have good friends that understand and can help though.

I get panic attacks every night before I go to bed. I've had them for years, so I'm used to them....but every once-in-a-while I'll be kept awake for hours stressing about the same ol' shit I always have to deal with.... meh...
