What a weird night.
It was one of those evenings that was filled with drama (and not necessarily the good kind), a little bit of drinking, and quite a bit of fun despite all the weirdness that ensued. The night ended really well, though, and I guess that's really what counts.
But now I have a lot of stuff floating around in my head as a result, and I'm not really sure how to handle it. And I'm not really sure if I like it.
Why WHY can't things just be simple and good? Why can't things come up LuluMae... just this one time?

a while back one of your sg peers (fyi, it was presley) put something up on her journal detailing some kid on myspace that killed himself. testimonials left from his friends showed so much distress and pain he left, that huge hole he left in other people's lives by leaving them, and presley said that she hoped, just maybe, it would cause people to take the phrase 'love life' more seriously. that resonated with me, you see.
took me a LONG time to learn this. may take you a while, too. but hope is something you have to be vigilant about....

once you insist on this, and tell your despair to fuck off, it DOES give you strength, or show you the strength within yourself.
(well, at least, it works for me. and i've had AWFUL things said to me. :-)
naked pictorials or not, i don't like seeing people suffer needlessly like this. so i had to say something, whether or not it applies to you - you know better than i do if it does, right? and if it doesn't, who knows? maybe one day it will.
