I think I now understand it when they say "Thanks God It's Friday."
I just had the stupidest experience on campus, in which I saw a person I wasn't expecting and therefore wasn't prespared to see, turned, and bolted in the opposite direction. How much of a loser am I? Then I spend my entire first year CSC class sitting in a sea of eighteen year olds (which I guess now makes me a "mature student") trying to fight back the urge to cry, instead of listening to the html lesson, which of course I should have been doing.
(As a sidenote, I appeared to also have chosen a seat next to ADHD man who apparently couldn't make it through one frickin' fifty minute class.)
I don't think I can say it any better than Carrie from Sex and the City...
"Don't stop thinking about him, not even for a second. Because the minute you do is the minute that you'll turn around and see him standing there."
