I am on summer vacation! I finished my last exam yesterday, so school is officially out. Until I start classes again on September 3rd. But unTIL then, you will be able to find me drinking a mint julippe in the sunny spot on my front porch.
Well, actually, you might find me at work. Or drinking a coffee inside, because the weather's kind of crapped out on me. Or you might find me doing laundry, because I kind of neglected it for the past three weeks. But regardless, I am not doing homework, and so I am a happy, happy camper. Who isn't camping.
Tonight, I am going to see a Bruce Springsteen Tribute show played by a couple of our local bands. I am so frickin excited. I hope to god there will be lots of red bandanas tucked into back pockets and such. Or better yet, tied around foreheads. Yeah baby...
I heart the Boss.
But for now, I must go. I'm about to go on a coffee date with the fabulous Bettina. Yay!

Oh, and I've got a positive vote on a name...
I leave you with this smidgen of poesy:
There is something about a mint julep.
It is nectar imbibed in a dream,
As fresh as the bud of the tulip,
As cool as the bed of the stream.
There is something about a mint julep,
A fragrance beloved by the lucky.
And perhaps it's the tint
Of the frost and the mint,
But I think it was born in Kentucky.
