Hello my fabulous funseekers...
Here's my multi-faceted haiku for this rather poopy day:
Who knew? I needed
to have "Serving it Right" ...now.
I miss him dearly.
But alas, my day was not complete poop. One major highlight was that I got to visit (in preparation for the big show tomorrow night) with my fabulous co-Victoria Sg's. It was so lovely to see them. Rays of sunshine in my day. And I got the added bonus of running into Tiamat at the bar last night. What a fabulous dancer she is- I had to seek her out for a few of my favorite songs.
And yes, after applying for a couple of jobs, I had one bar owner point out to me that Serving it Right was "required" for a job in a bar. Um, no one told me that. They just let me apply. But no one actually pointed it out to me that I needed it.
BUT... (the story continues!) thanks to the *magic* of the world-wide web, after an hour on the computer I am now a proud graduate of the "Responsible Beverage Service Program." Wee. Now I can go whore myself for an underpaying part-time job.
And so passes another adventure-filled day in the life of LuluMae. And after a little initiative (and one teary phone call to my beloved sister: "I *hiccup* miss youuuu... *sniffle* I wish you *hic* lived here with meeee...") I have returned to my usual mood. Cautiously optimistic.
I've said it once and I'll say it again: "Why if only we were all weiner dogs, our problems would be solved!"
