Honesty and respect seem to be out the window these days. I'm living in a world of "If it isn't about ME, then YOU are wrong." Love is a lost art form. Friendships are like the Titanic headed for disaster. Supporting another emotionally is too inconvenient. "What can you do for ME? Why haven't you done this for ME? YOU? You want what from ME? Well, no, because you didn't do this for ME, or this for ME, or this for ME? You're a piece of shit for not doing all these things for ME. What? What about the roof over my head, the financial support, the emotional support, the sacrifices you made for me? Who gives a shit? You're asking too much of me--support in return, trust, respect....Those take effort, and effort takes time away from ME and what I'M trying to do."
