My new tattoo itches. No surprise there, since it is my 6th, but still. I just thought everyone needed to know that.

So--why is it I have no problems getting tattoos, can watch with fascination while a nurse draws my blood, but when hubby had to get the tweezers out yesterday to remove a small, mean-spirited splinter from my thumb, that pain gets to me worse than most any? And the hubby is gentle! He admits a little flesh came out with the splinter because it was hook-shaped, but just come near with me with tweezers and yeesh. Torture device, those things! (and I wax the eyebrows for those who are wondering.)

Aren't you glad you stopped by to read all that? Ha. I promise highly intellectual, possibly even metaphysical, discourse at some point soon.

Or maybe I'll talk about my fear of crickets....
