Just survived a week of staying up all night and catching a few hours sleep here and there during the day while hubby, Neopop, pulled together work for an art show that went up and opened Friday night. He has some great pieces in the most hoity toity gallery in town--pieces done with a few SG hopefuls working as his models (thanks Val Gal and VictoriaRose) Beau, too.
I'm not the artist, but I"m the wife, and when Neo doesn't sleep, I don't sleep. That would sound all romantic and stuff, except that it has more to do with him coming in and out of the house, banging around, asking for me to help him do this or that at whatever time of day or night it is and whether or not I'm sleeping doesn't matter. The weeks he has art shows opening up are roller coaster rides. Whew!
I'm really proud of what he got out there and the response to his work, though. Now, if I can get back to my own writing, maybe I can start spitting out something worth a little pride myself!
